REACHING OUT: MISSIONS, FELLOWSHIP & SUPPORT

Hope Lutheran Church continues to be a mission church.  We support missions throughout the world with  monitary contributions and missionary support.  For example, Hope supports pastors Nijhar & Neeraj Ekka and their family who are presently serving in India. Please see the Global Missions page for description of these and other global activities.

We also support many local mission programs such as the Wildwood food pantry, Dissaster Immediate Relief Team (D.I.R.T.)  Seeds of Hope and others .  Please see the Local Missions page for more on the local projects supported by Hope.  

A third type of missions; Family support of our church family is also very important.  We support each other in time of need. At Hope, you are a member of our family as soon as you walk in the door.

Social activities are also important for the well being of our family.  We have golf, bridge, dining out and other activities to promote fellowship and get to know each other.  See the Fellowship page for activities that may  interest you.

Other activities transcend missions, family and fellowship these include our Women's Group,  the Men of Hope, the Crafts Group, Quilters Group and Hope University.  Please see Local Missions for descriptions of these  groups.

 In the past Pastor Duane Vierow served as a missionary in Malaysia.  Read this article presented in the Villages magazine about Duane and his wife Donna and their recent trip to Malaysia, India, Vietnam and Singapore.    The Neighborhood Care Teams are there to provide support and social activities in each neoghborhood.  We also have many social activities for our family.  

Hope University fulfills our Educational mission providing many fine programs throughout the year.
