Worship and Music

Music is a major part of our services from the traditional hymns to  contemporary arrangements.  It makes the worship experience comforting and meaningful for us.  Once a month, we plan a Power of Praise service where we invite guest musicians and singers to provide.   The choirs and groups provide the wonderful music we enjoy.  They are always looking for new faces to help and to provide fresh new ideas to further enhance our worship experience.  Please contact our Minister of Music to volunteer.

Spirit Ringers

This is the chime choir at Hope. Similar in technique to bells, the chimes produce a beautiful tone that compliments the worship experience. Ringers play two or more chimes and the ability to read music is strongly suggested.

Spirit Singers

This is a ladies' ensemble, which provides special music for services throughout the year. Vocal selections are written for 3-parts: soprano, 2nd soprano and alto. Rehearsals are held on Monday afternoons from 2pm-2:45pm

Sounds of Hope

This group sings at the 4pm worship service on Saturdays. It is a smaller ensemble than Voices of Hope and rehearses at 2:30pm. Most of the repertoire is in 2-3 parts, and one anthem is prepared and sung each week.

Voices of Hope

This group provides music for the Sunday morning worship services. This is the largest choir and singers experience a variety of repertoire from classic to contemporary. Arrangements are written for 4-parts: soprano, alto, tenor and bass; solo opportunities area also available. The Voices of Hope rehearse on Thursday evenings at 7pm.
