Local Projects in Hope

Projects, missions, programs, activities.  No matter what you call them, Hope Lutheran church is heavily envolved in helping those in our local community.  Many of these programs are conducted under the aupices of the Hope Women's Group.  However, there is no requirement to belong to the group in order to participate.  ( In fact, the Women of Hope have no membership lists, dues or attendance requirements.  They are just a goup of women intent on makeing this world better for our neighbors.  )

D.I.R.T. - Disaster Immediate Response Team

DIRT, formed after the February 2007 tornadoes, is a group of volunteer men and women who go out in the local community to assist, where they are able, those families that need their help. Whether it be assistance still needed from a past disaste (yards filled with storm debris), assistance with code compliance issues (junk filled yards) or assisting the physically impaired in making a move, DIRT can help.
