Family Support

At Hope we consider ALL our members AND our visitors FAMILY.  If you are here, you are part of our family as you are all children of God.

Hope provides many opportunities for fellowship and for support of each other.  Some of these opportunities are described in the following pages:

Neighborhood Care Teams

Hope Lutheran Church Neighborhood Care Teams were created to include every member of the congregation.  The goal is to meet the needs of our congregation and make us more caring by providing a structure that will help nurture relationships.

Prayer Support

A Prayer List  is maintained for Members of Hope and for Friends and Loved Ones of Members and published in the weekly newsletter.  The Hope Prayer Support Team meets on the second Monday of each month at 9:30 AM.  Anyone interested in prayer ministry is invited to become involved with the Hope Prayer Support Team.

Please call the Team Leader, Joi Lauterborn to add / remove a loved one from the prayer support list.

Please note:  Friends and Loved Ones of members will be listed on the Prayer Chain for four (4) weeks.  If a crisis occurs, please call the church offic and we will place your loved one or friend, on the prayer chain for four (4) more weeks - Pastor Bill

Memorial Garden

Memorial Garden gateThe Hope Memorial Garden is located on the west side of the church adjacent to the sanctuary.  It is a place where the ashes of departed loved ones are intered in a quiet setting.  The garden is approximately 60 ft by 40 ft.    Walkways, benches and landscaping are throughout.  Above ground vaults are available to hold one or two urns.  Ashes may be buried in ground or spread in the garden with markers available. The entrance gate features a lighted cross.  For more information, see garden

Education

Hope University

H.O.P.E. University is for all people.  The name is a fancy, all inclusive way of saying we have Bible Study, Doctrinal Studies, discussion of Faith and Current Events and offer courses to aid our Christian Growth.  If you are reading this report and have not tried “Hope U” as yet, why not make the effort to participate in a class this year.  We are in our fourth year of operation. There is no tuition, no tests, no memorization, an occasional book charge and leaders who answer your questions. For further information on HOPE University, click here

Library

The Library  supplies literature and related material useful to church members and organizations.  Books are available for loan to our members.
